The non-profit Family Rauch Foundation of the mechanical engineering company MAHA is once again supporting the association Körperbehinderte Allgäu gGmbH. This time with a donation of 11,500 EUR for the purchase of a ceiling lift system in a residential home.
Haldenwang, 3 rd August 2022. Once again, the non-profit Family Rauch Foundation is able to provide targeted help with its donation. The sum of 11,500 EUR was invested in a ceiling lift system. The system enables people in a residential group supported by the association Körperbehinderte Allgäu gGmbH in Kempten to live more independently.
The Körperbehinderte Allgäu gGmbH has been regionally rooted for 60 years and works with the philosophy of "Living together, being there for each other". The focus is on supporting people with disabilities and their goal of living a self-determined life in the middle of our society. The institution is a large family with more than 500 employees and over 1,300 clients throughout the Bavarian region called Allgäu. In addition to an integrative day-care centre for children, the association also includes a special school, counselling services, residential and care services, a therapy centre, a post-stroke care facility and inclusive businesses with work opportunities for people with disabilities.
"I have been in regular exchange with the association and the people of Körperbehinderte Allgäu gGmbH for many years. I experience their daily work and personal commitment as absolute matters of the heart of each individual. It is this humanity that is all too often neglected in our everyday lives. For me, as a representative of the non-profit Family Rauch Foundation, it is therefore a very special concern to support the work of the association. The purchase of the ceiling lift system for a residential home in Kempten in May was important and sensible. With it, we are enabling the residents to take another big step towards an unrestricted life, and that is worth a lot," reports Anton Klotz Chairman of the Foundation Board and retired District Administrator.
