The charitable Family Rauch Foundation from MAHA supports the Integrative Childcare Centre Schwalbennest with a donation of EUR 5,400 for building an in-ground trampoline. The private charitable foundation of Winfried Rauch, the late founder of MAHA, has been advocating for people who find themselves in an emergency situation through no fault of their own for many years.
Haldenwang/Kempten, 4 October 2018. The “Integrative Childcare Centre Schwalbennest” is a department of the Körperbehinderte Allgäu, an organisation that is committed to the support and promotion of the physically disabled in the Allgäu region. The organisation takes an integrative education approach for living and working, whereby non-handicapped children and children who require special needs are cared for together.
Following the decision of the foundation board of the charitable Family Rauch Foundation, the building of an in-ground trampoline for the Integrative Childcare Centre Schwalbennest was approved with a donation of EUR 5,400. The new trampoline will allow non-handicapped children and wheelchair-bound children to use the sports device together. Dr Michael Knauth (Managing Director of Körperbehinderte Allgäu) explained that the sports device allows for complete inclusion and that the trampoline is a great representation of the guiding principle of the childcare facility. Especially the wheelchair children, endearingly referred to as “Rolli kids” (“wheely kids”) of the Schwalbennest childcare centre were very happy about the planned installation.
The district administrator and foundation board member Anton Klotz was able to gain an insight of the childcare centre at the official donation-handover on 1 October 2018. The Family Rauch Foundation is pleased to support the childcare centre and the children with their donation.
